7.2.0
New Features
Support for Insocial
With the addition of the new Insocial metric provider to our XLAONE ecosystem, you can now ingest survey response data from your Insocial service for in-depth AI analysis. Insocial is an experience management platform that helps organizations gather and analyze feedback from customers and employees to improve their overall experience.

Email Embedded Surveys
Surveys can now be embedded in the body of distributed emails. This new feature is designed to boost response rates by reducing friction, making it easier and faster for recipients to participate.
For more information see Email Embedding.
Survey Anonymity
Surveys distributed through XLAONE can now be configured with different levels of anonymity. This flexibility allows you to balance the need for actionable insights with participants' expectations of privacy.
Choosing the appropriate anonymity level helps balance trust and transparency. Higher anonymity can increase response rates and honesty, while lower anonymity can support targeted actions or follow-ups.
Respondents are always informed about the anonymity level of the survey. The available levels are:
Strict
Responses are completely anonymous and cannot be traced back to individual participants. No additional demographic or contextual data (e.g., region, gender, department) is collected. This level encourages the most candid and honest feedback.
Basic
While individual responses remain anonymous, supplementary information such as region, gender, or department is stored. This level provides useful context for analysis without compromising personal identity.
None
Responses are directly linked to the respondent’s identity (e.g., email address). Administrators can see who submitted each response. This setting is suitable when personalized follow-up is required.
For more information see Survey Anonymity.
Score Status
Upon daily score calculation, there could be multiple reasons a score cannot be calculated. To represent these situations, we've added a new feature showing status warnings within their scores whenever the score status becomes abnormal.
Statuses are visually indicated by a yellow or red circle around the score. Hovering over the circle will display a tooltip explaining the specific issue:

For more information see Score Status.
Reading Tags
When data is ingested from external systems they are converted and stored as an internal XLAONE entity called reading. Sometimes this external data comes with additional information that can be useful for further analysis like service name, company name, email address, etc. This information is now extracted and stored as tags associated with individual readings.
Changes & Enhancements
Daily Score Calculation
The automatic score calculation process has been optimized and now runs only once on a daily basis. In practice this means that new scores are always calculated on the readings that we're ingested on the day before.
Metric Source Health Status
The former connection status properties of metric sources have been replaced with the new Health object. This change was needed to provide a better fit for the new data push metric sources introduced in version 7.0.
Draft Survey Questions Available as Experience Parameters
This small change has a big impact, allowing you to bind questions from non-published surveys as parameters to metrics in your experiences. Previously, only questions from published surveys were allowed, which made things a bit cumbersome.
Improved Survey Distribution Page
With the new mentioned features like Email Embedded Surveys and Survey Anonymity we've irmpoved the survey distribution page:

Breaking Change: Removal of Co-Admin Role
The Co-Admin role has been removed because we found it wasn't very useful and made the system more complicated than necessary.
