Create Email Embeddable Survey

To set up an email embedded survey in XLAONE, start creating a new survey by clicking the Add New button. Depending on the questions defined in the selected template, the survey may or may not be suited for embedding. Upon opening the survey this is visible in the bottom right corner of the Survey Designer:

With each change made to the survey, this area will inform you about the embeddability status.

Add the questions you wish to ask in your survey. The status area will inform you about non-compatible question types that cannot be embedded:

If you only wish to embed the first question, it will work if this icon is red, as long as the first question is compatible.

Once you are satisfied with your survey, click Save.

Publish Email Embeddable Survey

Once the survey had been created, click on it in the main surveys view.

On the Publication tab for the created survey, select a recipient list from the dropdown. If you do not have any yet, click the Manage button to add one:

Under Delivery Options check the Embed survey in email option and specify if you only want to embed the first question of the survey or the whole survey:

Now your survey is ready to be embedded in an email and you can press the Publish button.
